Seniors

14 – 18 Years

Young people in this age group are encouraged to lead their own programme support by their leaders. It is all about them deciding what they would like to do and organising it for themselves.
The programme for this age group is based on projects and challenges, encouraging young people to complete one-off challenges and more in-depth projects both of which can be tackled individually or as part of
a team.

The Programme

There are numerous opportunities as a part of the Challenge Plus programme.
Some of these include camps and residentials further afield. In addition there are international opportunities such as BB events overseas to being able to volunteer on community projects in developing countries.

Safe & Welcoming

All our Leaders are required to undergo PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) checks – this is similar to the Criminal Records Checks in England & Wales.
Our Leaders also received training in Child Protection, and our senior Leaders also undergo thorough Youth Leadership Training.
All of this is designed to ensure we create a safe, secure & welcoming environment for young people & their families.
